Will The Gov't Fix Global Warming??
How good of a track record does the federal government have at solving problems? A pretty good one, actually. That is, if by good, you mean bad. How's that War on Drugs working out? Or the War on Poverty?? How about the War on Teenage Sex?? Are we solving the problems in education??
Answers: Horrible, Counter-productive, Wasteful, and Not At All.
So the federal government has failed in reducing crime, failed in solving poverty, failed in stopping teenage sex, and failed to educate our kids.
So who better to turn to than Washington DC to fix global warming.
Washington's "innovative" solution: Add a long-term estimated cost of $10 trillion on the economy through a cap-and-trade system, in order to produce an infantile decrease in global temperatures.
I'm SURE they'll get it right this time, however.
